Give me a rainy day, a blanket of fog, some environmental sounds, and piano music - and I will give you a dynamic, vibrant painting of flowers, sea creatures, or a dog. the right environment coaxes creativity. In life, there can never be too many rainbows or too many flowers. Flowers bring a smile to your face and brightness to your every day. Things that make me feel alive and energetic inspire my choices of subject matter. I pass these feelings to you when you experience my paintings. A bright magenta and mauve magnolia blossom is a stately statement of elegance; a scarlet poppy waving in a field is a giggle of joy, a nose-close smiling Golden Retriever is elation. Watercolor and acrylic are the media that bring to life the vital spirit in the flowers and animals that dance or languish in my paintings. Colors are zestful.
